Seymour Remenick
Seymour Remenick (1923-1999) was born in Detroit, studied at the Tyler School of Fine Arts 1940-1942, the Hans Hoffman Art School 1946-1948, and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. From 1977 to 1996, he was a much-loved teacher at PAFA.
His work is in many collections including the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
