Giovanni Casadei was born in Rome in 1956, studied at the Scuola Libera del Nudo and the Academy of Fine Art in Rome, and moved to Philadelphia in 1986 and studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts under Seymour Remenick. He exhibits regularly and has won many prizes for his art.
